Today was probably the hardest day of the year for me, but since our school is amazing everyone was comfoting me and helped me through it.
the days events;
well today was the robotics challenge. I was pretty confident because the program we had built worked the last time we tested it. Apparently someone had gone in and changed the program to make our robot not work. We tried to rebuild it, but couldn't in the 10 min. we had. We had to lay out black tape for the robot to follow. Now in this group we had group of three, it was like a group inside a group. So when we were laying out the tape i was telling them "guys my robot wont follow that, it's not gunna work, you have to do this.." but they wouldn't listen.
So after we failed the challenge. I decided to not talk for the rest of the day and see how people dealed without my voice. sounds stupid? well it worked, soon 5 ali asked what i was doing, i wrote it out for her and she decided to support me. By the end of the day i had gotten half of the school "non talkable" supporting me, it felt great! At one point during the day Mr. Peirce actually came up to me and said "Adrienne, yopu rock, and i'm sorry if you think i've ever not listened to you" it was amazing! I still had to stay after school to finish my robot, but i was supported by amazing people.
Thyen i went to zoe and isaac's and we played a weird board game...i can't remember the name.....but....yea, then we went to jill and isaac's preformance, which was really cool (congrats guys!!) then......we went back to our house and had ice cream and had a lovely.....(drum roll please)
