A movie

last night dancer lady and I went to get a chai and watch a movie while crazy girl and magicrat went to see superman. We went to get a chai and than rented 2 dvds, one my mom wanted me to watch and i have heard was really good and i was looking forward to watching (Amelie) and one that just...looked good (votes for women)

we sat down ready to watch Amelie, played the movie, got a minute into it and than it skipped. we breathed and tried again, same, we cleaned it, we went downstairs, nothing worked. Dancer lady finally decided that she would go to Jet Video and rent it. apperently their copy was out, so we ended up watching Memoirs of a Geisha. It was really enjoyable, i recommend it.

Final day (day 4)

after that we headed home, we stopped at a rest stop to have luch where i encountered a freaky looking ad and a vegge slice of pizza with a pinapple passion smoothie. we got home at 11.


these were both of my mom and my dad's apartments when they lived together, they didn't have both of them at the same time, they moved into the white one after the other one......well anyway, they bought coral in the white house. they had the upstairs.


next we went to my mom's college, Binghamton University, while going by this field my mom informed me and crazy girl that it was the field she learned golf on in gym class

We left that hotel and decided to head home, away from the constant rain, before we did that we visited places where my mom and dad lived and where my mom went to college. first we went to Ithica

Day 3

this is the veiw from our window, this is Seneca lake which, by the way, is named after my stuffed dog that has been in our family since before i was born, which is in the other picture


after that we made our way to our next hotel, here is our room and this is the hotel sign, it is rainy outside because i took the picture the next morning



after that we made our way to the butterfly conservatory. it was amazing, it was like being in a fantasy world!

we packed up everything and on our way to our next destination we went to a botanical garden and had a nice horse drawn carriage ride through the whole darned 100 acres!

Day 2

we went to dinner at the rainforest cafe, never go there, this picture is of a statue on top of a fountain, i found this funny because there are tons of fancy soaps and oils and shampoo's in the bathroom (it says rescue the rainforest, if you can't see)



we went to this really cool cirque du soleil thing and while going on the bus found some funny signs on the bus.

we finally checked out the falls, actually we were there for hours, it was so misty that even above the falls you could feel a lot of mist. Now imagine that except one thousand times more, that's what it was like on the Maid of the Mist. If you look closely at this picture you can see (near the falls) a tiny speck, that's the Maid of the Mist, that wasn't our boat of course but that's how close we got to the falls as well.


the people who were camping next to us were very strict with their kids but also had the most annoying dog ever, also when we walked into the bathroom we were very surprised, that is the other picture







we left that hotel the next day to go to Niagara Falls, it was crazy! it was like being inside a giant pinball machine! we camped in the falls at a place called KOA

Day 1 of our vacation (also a random picture share)

While driving back to our hotel we noticed my spa, well, ONE of my spas



we had dinner at Tully's, during this dinner my mom tried to convince me to ask the guy next to us if i could take a picture of his dessert, but i couldn't, i tried, but he didn't hear me, so i ended up not getting his dessert on my camera


our family was very well accomidated
